Hand-Held Sprayer for Weed Control  

The Herbiflex-4 is a shrouded spinning disc sprayer for the Controlled Droplet Application (CDA) of herbicides.  It can apply CDA formulations or traditional water-based products at total spray volumes of only 10-30 litres/hectare.  The consistently large spray droplets of around 200 microns minimise the risk of spray drift and fall in a precise spray pattern adjustable between 10 and 75 cm.

The Herbiflex-4 is used worldwide for band spraying of narrow strips of weeds.  Generally over 12 kilometres can be treated in two hours with only 5 litres of spray mix.  Uses include general clean up around buildings, border, pathway and strip spraying (e.g. fence lines) and in between crop rows.  The reduction in mixing and filling operations offers operator safety advantages.
